Introducing Inside Construction Expo
Inside Construction magazine is proud to announce the introduction of Melbourne’s own construction and major infrastructure event, Inside Construction Expo 2023.
Inside Construction Expo will bring the major projects and civil infrastructure construction industry together on September 20 and 21 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre – with a key focus on ‘Engineering for the Future’.
Providing the ideal environment to present and discuss solutions to the complex challenges the construction industry faces, the Expo will cover topics such as the ongoing skills shortage, digital transformation and safety.
Across the two days, a world-class exhibition will showcase construction equipment and companies; industry leaders will present in an educational conference on the issues facing the construction sector; and the best people, projects and innovations from across the Australian construction industry will be recognised at an Awards Gala.
Inside Construction Expo will have a focus on major projects and civil construction, as well as major vertical residential. The centrepiece to the event will be about Victoria’s Big Build, expanding out to showcase construction on other significant infrastructure taking place around Victoria.
Run in partnership with, and be supported by, key industry organisations Australian Constructors Association, National Association of Women in Construction, and Working at Heights Association, the Expo will run to help grow the Australian construction industry.
Lauren Fahey, General Manager, The National Association of Women in Construction says the association is looking forward to the event. “At NAWIC we strive to champion and empower women in the construction industry to realise their full potential,” she says.
“We’re pleased to be a partner of Inside Construction Expo 2023, to provide our members access to an event that offers the chance to expand professional networks and opportunities.
“We’re also excited to be part of the broader conversation around attracting and retaining talent within the sector, and how we can progress towards our core target of 25 per cent minimum female participation in the construction industry by 2025.”
The Inside Construction team are equally looking forward to the event. We hope to see you all there.
