Lina Ayala serves as senior technical designer at Gensler Sydney, with 16 years of extensive professional experience working around the globe. She has contributed to both mixed-use and single-use commercial developments of every scale. She has also led the design of urban planning projects.
Lina is the Resilience Leader for Gensler Australia and is responsible for ensuring the team have the latest insights and training from firm wide resources.
Lina carries a reputation for working closely with her clients to generate strategies and solutions that are innovative, resilient, and pragmatic over a diverse range of residential projects. She is exceptionally passionate about design and its impact on the world, the environment, and most importantly, the community. Her recent notable projects include Central Park House in Vancouver, Canada; 160 Water Conversion in New York, NY; Galataport in Istanbul, Turkey; Franklin Tower in Philadelphia, PA; Wynwood Plaza in Miami, Florida; and Msheireb Downtown Doha in Qatar.
A graduate of the Master of Architecture and Master of Science in Real Estate Development programs from Columbia University, she employs her dual degree to assume a versatile and liaising role at Gensler.
